Gracie Productions was founded in 2004 by Tony Bucher with the goal of breaking artists in markets traditionally ignored by the larger labels. The label first released Sally Anthony's "Vent" album relying on a strong grassroots network. The album sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, led to tour dates with The Barenaked Ladies, Tom Petts, James Taylor, Ray J, and many others, and to a major distribution deal with Caroline/EMI in 2006. This success has provided the company with opportunities to break our roster of acts not only in the US, but also worldwide.
